Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive primary care in an FQHC setting in North Carolina. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, team-based care and collaboration across clinicians, pharmacists, and support staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree with NC licensure (APN/FNP or PA), DEA and BLS certifications, and at least 3 years of primary care experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years primary care experience.
• Must be licensed as APN/FNP or PA in NC.
• Current DEA and BLS certificates required.
• Medicaid and Medicare eligibility required.

Responsabilités

• Engages in patient-centered care to provide timely access to high-quality care.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary health care team to form a high performing unit.
• Delivers medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services including emergency responses.
• Documents all patient care activities in the EHR with clear, concise notes.
• Orders and administers medications and referrals as needed to patients.
