Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide expert clinical care across general and specialty areas. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in collaboration with attending physicians while following AH policies.

The role requires an MSN or DNP, RN/NP licensure in the state, and CPR/BLS certification. Two years of relevant experience are preferred, with emphasis on patient education and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required.
• RN and NP licensure in state of practice are required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, employees and/or family members; constructs comprehensive medical histories.
• Performs initial and periodic physical examinations; evaluates patient behavior and health needs.
• Provides comprehensive health assessments, diagnoses illnesses, and formulates treatment plans.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic studies; writes prescriptions and manages medications.
• Ensures accurate, up-to-date documentation and adherence to scope of practice.
