Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illness.
• Perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relevant to patient age-specific needs.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatments.
• Provide education on acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Manage chronic medical conditions including medication reconciliation.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and facilitate appointments.
• Perform preventive screenings and health maintenance.
