Job summary

White House Clinics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care in a collaborative clinic setting in Kentucky. The role includes conducting physicals, ordering tests, interpreting results, and developing treatment plans with physicians.

Candidates must hold Kentucky NP licensure and a BSN; MSN preferred, with 3 years nursing plus 2 years NP experience. Qualified applicants will educate patients, prescribe therapies, manage referrals, and participate in QA activities.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Licensed as Nurse Practitioner in Kentucky.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete physical exams and medical histories.
• Order labs and diagnostic procedures; interpret results.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Prescribe medications and therapies; coordinate care with physicians.
• Refer to specialists as needed; manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Triage calls and provide clinical guidance; maintain accurate records.
