Job summary

Suzanne Snell is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in a structured clinical environment in Galveston, Texas. The assignment is locum tenens with a four-day work week, day shift, and no weekends, offering a predictable weekday schedule and work-life balance.

In this role you will perform comprehensive assessments, manage acute and chronic conditions, and collaborate with a care team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license/certification required.
• FNP, AGNP, or NP certification.
• DEA registration required.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide same-day patient evaluations and sick-call coverage.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication, disease-management, and preventive-care education.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
• Support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
