Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Primary Care Patient Care Medical Assistant to support providers and the care team in delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting. Under the direction of the primary care operations team, you will partner with patients, clinicians, and staff to drive timely, safe, effective, and equitable care that aligns with Mercy Service Standards.

New hires must attend the MA Clinic Academy training to prepare for outstanding performance and patient service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• One year of patient care or medical office experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, effective, and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with patients, providers, and the care team to drive quality outcomes.
• Follow Mercy Service Standards and participate in training as required.
