Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Care Medical Assistant to work under the direction of the primary care operations team. You will collaborate with providers and care team to deliver patient-centered care in a safe, efficient, and compassionate way.
Responsibilities include supporting clinics with intake, rooming patients, taking vitals, and ensuring accurate documentation. A high school diploma and MA training are required; clinic academy training will be provided.
Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
