Qualifications

• Valid license to practice medicine or osteopathy in West Virginia, with current DEA certificate.
• Board certified or Board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary health care services.
• Perform assessment, including comprehensive physical exam and age-appropriate screening procedures. Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests. Formulate diagnosis and develop treatment plans.
• Complete all appropriate documentation in a timely manner according to FamilyCare policy.
• Consult with, collaborate with or refer to other medical providers as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses on staff.
• Participate in research, educational activities and the teaching of students, if interested.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and attend clinical and staff meetings.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned and observe health and safety requirements.
• Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations and participate in continuous quality improvement.
