Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring an LPN for a Primary Care Clinic in New Orleans. The position is part-time, offering 20 hours per week across 2 or 3 days, with occasional weekends. There may be a path to full-time after discussion with the manager.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines, monitoring vital signs, conducting basic and complex assessments, and coordinating patient access. Experience in primary care or urgent care is preferred; licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Family or Internal Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations, injections, and medications (oral, IV, injectable, topical).
• Monitor and document vital signs (BP, HR, RR, temp).
• Conduct routine and complex patient assessments and document treatment responses.
• Provide emergency care in collaboration with on-site provider.
• Review medications for side effects, Contraindications, and interactions.
• Perform mental health screenings to assess mood and cognition.
• Document medical histories and treatments in the EHR.
• Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate access to healthcare services and community resources.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the care team.
• Handle patient registration, intake, scheduling, and reminders.
