Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to patients under physician supervision. The role supports the practice by delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and by conveying a positive image of the team.
Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, documenting care in Epic, coordinating with the care delivery team, and maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity. Connecticut/New York licensure is required where applicable.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma and LPN Diploma Required.
EXPERIENCE
2 years of medical practice experience preferred.
LICENSURE
Current licensure from the State of Connecticut and/or New York (when necessary).
SPECIAL SKILLS
Ability to assist physicians in minor procedures (where applicable). Excellent, organizational, communication, customer service and teamwork skills required. Ability to multi-task is essential. EMR experience preferred and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required. CPR certification preferred. Bilingual preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
MMR is required. Varivax (chicken pox vaccine) or evidence of prior chicken pox is required. Hepatitis B (or signed declination) is required for those with potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Tdap and influenza vaccination are strongly encouraged.
