MedStar Medical Group at Leisure World in Silver Spring, MD is seeking an Internal Medicine / Geriatrics physician for a 100% outpatient practice. You will join a dedicated staff of five primary care physicians with a Monday-Friday schedule and a strong on-site support network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.

We are looking for an internal medicine physician to join our well-established outpatient practice on the premises of the Leisure World community in Silver Spring. This position offers you the opportunity to practice with a dedicated and highly trained staff of five primary care physicians. In this outpatient setting, you will have a set Monday-Friday schedule where you’ll be able to focus entirely on primary care with a geriatric population. There are sub-specialists in the building that include cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, neurology, psychiatry, audiology, dermatology, social work, lab services, and more.

Compensation And Incentives

• Competitive base salary of $230,000–$245,000
• Sign-on bonus
• Annual quality incentive of up to $16,000, guaranteed in full during the first year
• Quarterly bonuses based on patient volumes
