Job summary

The Iowa Clinic in Central Iowa is seeking a flexible CMA/LPN or RN to join our Primary Care Float Pool. You will provide nursing services for patients across multiple clinics with standard hours, no overnight shifts, and opportunities to work with diverse teams.

Ideal candidates are licensed in Iowa (RN, CMA or LPN), have strong patient communication skills, and enjoy helping people. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO, and a supportive, community-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN, CMA (AAMA) or LPN license is required.
• Knowledge of nursing techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses and treatments.
• Excellent patient interaction and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services for patients of assigned physician(s) following established standards; Monday–Friday clinic hours at Primary Care facilities.
• Room patients and take vitals.
• Assist providers with patient triage and formulate initial care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and respond to patient needs with compassionate care.
• Engage with patients to understand their concerns and build rapport.
