Qualifications

The Role

We are seeking a Primary Care Clinician (FNP, MD, or DO) for a 1099 contract role at our clinic opening in Orange, CA. This position requires an on‑site commitment of 4–5 hours per week.

What You'll Work On

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and manage acute and chronic illnesses while considering their impact on mental health.
• Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring safe and effective use, while considering potential interactions with psychiatric medications.
• Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings, integrating the findings with mental health care plans.
• Educate members on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation integrated with mental health care plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and attend regular team meetings.

What You'll Have

• NP Degree from an accredited school or MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.

• For NP PCP candidates, minimum of 5 years RN experience prior to PCP licensure and 1+ year experience as FNP after completion of clinical hours preferred.
• Previous experience working independently as a PCP.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and embrace a whole‑person care approach.
• Strong commitment to patient‑centered care.
• Preferred experience in primary care for patients with severe mental illness.
