Job summary

Uintah Basin Medical Cntr in Roosevelt, UT is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily front- and back-office workflows, patient experience, and staff leadership in a full-time on-site role.

Job Summary:

Daily Operations & Patient Experience

• Direct day-to-day front- and back-office workflows to ensure seamless patient check-in, rooming, clinical processing, and discharge.
• Monitor operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Proactively collaborating to resolve complex patient complaints and inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
• Facilitate optimal physical environment, managing medical and assisting in office equipment procurement, inventory tracking, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and mentorship to clinical support teams (Medical Assistants, Triage Nurses) and administrative staff.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, continuous training, and annual competency assessments for all direct reports.
• Manage staff master schedules, paid time off (PTO) tracking, and daily operational coverage to minimize productivity gaps.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and address personnel issues or disciplinary actions in close alignment with Human Resources policies.

Financial & Compliance Oversight

• Contribute to the formulation of the annual clinic operating budget; monitor monthly expenses and explain line-item variances.
• Ensure full compliance across the facility with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, RHC (Rural Health Clinic),state department of health regulations, and internal security policies.

Quality Improvement & Clinical Alignment

• Partner with lead medical providers and the Populations health team to meet Value-Based Care and Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) metric targets.
