Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Care Advanced Medical Assistant to work with Primary Care Providers to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic. You will collaborate with patients and the care team to support quality outcomes and ensure adherence to Mercy standards.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for MA program graduates and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• One year of applicable patient care or medical office experience preferred.
• Must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA Competencies.
• Advanced Standard Rooming with 90%+ overall in last 6 months including AWV, med reconciliation, closed care gaps, BP rechecks, and patient experience conversations.

• Partner with patients, providers, and care team to drive quality outcomes.
