Job summary

Meijer in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Stocking Clerk to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on customer service, merchandising, and efficient stocking across the store, with weekend shifts and one overnight per week to prepare for the day ahead.

You’ll learn basic technology, follow processes, and work with leadership to keep shelves stocked, clean, and organized while delivering friendly service. This position offers weekly pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
