Job summary

Cardenas Markets LLC is seeking a Scan Coordinator I in Fontana, CA to manage weekly price changes and signage across the store. The role involves updating price signs, scanning merchandise, and ensuring accuracy of prices, UPCs, and dates.

You will work with handheld devices, assist with tag creation, and perform daily price audits. The position requires attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to travel to different company locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take inventory or scan the merchandise to identify the prices to be updated.
• Change shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new prices as needed.
• Receive, open, unpack, and issue price tickets of merchandise; create a label for new products on the shelf.
• Identify mislabeled products, misallocated product, and wrongfully priced product.
• Compare merchandise prices, dates, and UPC codes to ensure that they are correct.
• Order extra price tags and or signage based on merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.
• Perform daily audits and generate reports to ensure that all prices of merchandise are updated.
• Operate registers, scales, computers, printers, handheld device.
• Place all signs of items for the one-day specials.
• Remove expired price tags and replaces with new tags.
• Be attentive to information being sent from our support center Data integrity department.
• All other duties as assigned.
