Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC in Wendell, NC is seeking a price auditor to ensure accurate pricing across DSD and ad items, update shelf prices, and maintain price integrity. You will also perform stocking and cashier duties as needed and assist with signage and promotions.

The role requires the ability to lift, read and interpret information, and work well with store management to implement price changes and provide excellent guest service.

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of bakery operations.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the Store Manager and Merchandiser.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Verify/audit prices in DSD categories, MDI categories, Perishable departments and ad items.
• Update new prices in register system.
• Update new prices on shelf tags and signs.
• Update prices in the computer and on the shelf including displaying signs for discontinued items.
• Audit scan error logs.
• Ensure that all DSD price changes transmitted to the store are properly executed and shelf tags are printed and placed on the shelf (includes advertised and promotional items).
• Perform as a stocker.
• Perform as a cashier.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
