Job summary

• Basic math skills and ability to memorize PLU codes and procedures.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operate related equipment including POS and data-entry devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper pricing, itemization, tagging, and UPC/PLU documentation for all store merchandise.
• Maintain accurate pricing, descriptions, and valid item modifiers; organize price changes and signs by department/aisle.
• Research and correct scanning problems; run monthly pricing checks for consistency.
• Back up pricing data, maintain UPC/PLU backups, and monitor for not-on-file codes.
• Perform audits of scan accuracy and ensure proper placement of price signs on shelves and front end.
• Operate POS equipment and related hardware while maintaining a safe store environment.
