Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Pricing and Product Analyst in St. Cloud, MN to develop competitive pricing, maintain product data, and support new product launches. The role requires strong Excel and analytical skills and a market research mindset.

You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and accounting to price products, analyze margins, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights to drive profitable growth in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in pricing, product management, purchasing, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience evaluating costs, margins, profitability, and pricing strategies.
• Ability to conduct market research and competitive pricing analysis.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain product pricing to support competitiveness and profitability.
• Analyze product costs, margins, and market conditions to recommend pricing adjustments.
• Create forecasts and pricing models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Monitor competitor pricing and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform pricing and product strategies.
• Maintain accurate product data, specifications, pricing, and SKU information across business systems.
• Support new product launches, including SKU setup, product data management, and inventory planning.
• Analyze product sales and inventory performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Coordinate custom and special-order requests, including pricing, specifications, and vendor communication.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and accounting teams to support business objectives.
• Generate reports and insights using Excel and other analytical tools to support ongoing decision-making.
