Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking an experienced pricing analytics professional to join the Core Credit Risk & Pricing team. You will develop and optimise pricing strategies, collaborate with modelling, and maintain MI for performance monitoring, while ensuring regulatory compliance and fair outcomes for customers.

The role involves driving automation, handling multiple data sources with SQL, and delivering insights for the Management Committee and Board in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Working in the Core Credit Risk & Pricing team within the lending business, this is a hands-on role where you and supporting analysts will be using multiple data sources and analytical tools to develop and optimise pricing & trading strategies.

• Develop and optimise pricing strategies to deliver financial trading plans
• Drive efficiencies and automation in pricing strategy execution
• Collaborate with the Modelling team to identify new pricing factors that drive competitive advantage
• Maintain MI which facilitates effective performance monitoring and optimisation
• Provide analysis and insights for Management Committee and Board
• Maintain regulatory compliance and reputational integrity
• Act as a Commercial SME within the business
• Meet customers' reasonable expectations and provide fair outcomes
