Job summary

Lee's Marketplace in Utah seeks a Scanning Clerk to oversee pricing across the store, verify UPCs, update tags, and ensure accurate signage. The role supports guest service and contributes to a safe, clean shopping environment.

Responsibilities include testing UPC items, updating shelf tags, handling cash where applicable, and maintaining a neat work area. Prior retail or guest service experience is preferred, with flexible availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in retail or guest service (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Tests and scans UPC items for pricing and tagging accuracy on a rotation basis.
• Ensures changes for all prices marked on items, shelf tags and signs are accurate and timely.
• Maintains price accuracy across in-store signage and price files.
• Greet guests and assist with inquiries in a friendly manner.
• Handle basic cash transactions and operate registers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training sessions.
