Job summary

EZCORP, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven pricing across all merchandise categories. You will build data pipelines for training data and develop category-specific models for luxury, electronics, and more.

You will apply Gen AI/LLMs for product matching and MDM cleanup, and design pricing experimentation infrastructure, pilots, and A/B tests to validate changes before release. Mentoring and executive visibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS or related field with 15+ years software development experience.
• 5+ years in data science or ML roles, including pricing/demand/revenue optimization.
• 5+ years of pricing data collection and/or product data collection.
• Experience leading large-scale data acquisition or ML projects end-to-end.
• Experience applying Gen AI and LLMs to production use cases (e.g., entity matching, data cleanup).
• Experience with pricing experimentation — A/B testing, pilot design, causal inference.
• Retail, e-commerce, resale, or secondhand-goods pricing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven pricing models across all merchandise categories.
• Build data acquisition and curation pipelines for training/validation data.
• Develop specialized pricing models for categories with distinct pricing dynamics (e.g., luxury, electronics).
• Apply Gen AI/LLMs to product matching and Master Data Management cleanup.
• Design and operationalize pricing experimentation infrastructure (pilots, A/B tests, monitoring).
• Automate the pricing pipeline in collaboration with Data Engineering.
• Communicate pricing results and business impact to stakeholders.
• Mentor data scientists and pricing analysts; set modeling standards.
