Sprague is seeking a Pricing Associate to support internal sales teams and engage directly with customers to ensure accurate pricing and contract terms across a wide range of energy products. You will help drive pricing strategy, hedge activity, and efficient contract execution using Sprague Real-Time.

The role requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and attention to detail to monitor pricing, execute hedge transactions, and ensure contract performance aligns with company standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-5 years office experience in an energy industry environment preferred.
• Proficient Excel skills required.

• Develop and deliver price quotes and contract terms to Sprague customers for a variety of contract types and manage the execution of associated hedges.
• Communicate with existing and new customers regarding Sprague Real-Time and other contract related matters.
• Provide direct support for sales representatives and their accounts.
• Independently monitor and adjust pricing of products based on market changes and competitive analysis.
• Electronically execute Globex transactions and balance hedge positions throughout the day.
• Monitor customer contract performance to ensure obligations are met within terms.

Our Pricing Associate plays a key role in delivering accurate and timely price quotes and contract terms across a wide range of energy products. The Associate will support internal sales teams and directly engage with customers to ensure efficient contract execution, pricing strategy, and usage of Sprague’s proprietary E-Commerce platform, Sprague Real-Time. This position requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and attention to detail to monitor product pricing, execute hedge transactions, and ensure contract performance aligns with company standards.

• Develop and deliver price quotes and contract terms to Sprague customers for a variety of contract types and manage the execution of associated hedges.
• Communicate with existing and new customers regarding the use of Sprague’s proprietary E-Commerce platform “Sprague Real-Time” and other contract related matters.
• Provide direct support for sales representatives and their accounts.
• Independently monitor and adjust pricing of products based on changes in market conditions and analysis of the competitive market environment.
• Electronically execute Globex transactions and balance the hedge positions throughout the day.
• Execute/transmit confirmations for contracts.
• Monitor customer contract performance to ensure contract obligations are being fulfilled within terms.
• Manage Sprague’s portfolio of contracts across a variety of back-office systems and interfaces.
• Foster relationships with all applicable departments to identify and implement ways to improve management, daily process requirements, and expansion of the E-Commerce Platform.
• Manage contract/pricing disputes and coordinate resolutions as needed.
• Other duties as required.

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-5 years office experience in an energy industry environment preferred.
• Proficient computer skills is a must - Excel skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and develop new skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment and relate to customers/outside contacts and fellow employees.
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate basic office equipment
• Strong team player willing to constantly interact with teammates in a trade floor setting
