Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a Pricing Analyst to design and implement econometric models and pricing algorithms that optimize revenue. You will work closely with the Director of Pricing, build data-driven insights, and automate pricing with Python scripts on complex datasets.

This role requires SQL proficiency, statistics knowledge, and experience with modeling tools. You will collaborate across teams and present findings to leadership in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or US equivalent in a quantitative field.
• Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate large datasets.
• Experience with at least one modeling framework (e.g., SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, SAS, R, MATLAB).
• Strong knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression).
• Experience creating data-driven stories for stakeholders.
• Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop and execute econometric models for price optimization.
• Build, implement and maintain pricing algorithms on complex datasets.
• Run tests to evaluate hypotheses and pricing initiatives.
• Develop pricing tools and Python scripts to automate processes.
• Analyze data to identify pricing opportunities and potential profit impact.
• Communicate findings to leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support senior management in decision-making with data-driven insights.
