Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a Pricing professional to lead daily valuation for fixed income, derivatives and related assets. You will interact with Portfolio Managers, vendors and auditors to ensure accurate pricing and robust controls.

This role emphasizes collaboration across teams and strong technical skills. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Economics/Finance, plus experience with Bloomberg, SQL, Python, and Excel, and a familiarity with pricing workflows in a fund environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Finance.
• Experience with pricing vendors, PM/trading desk engagement, Bloomberg Terminal, and fund audits is preferred.
• Strong technical skills including SQL, Python and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Daily security price validation and resolving discrepancies for fixed income, derivatives, equity, ETF, FX, and commodity prices.
• Monitor and enhance daily price quality assurance checks.
• Respond to pricing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders including front office and vendors.
• Conduct security pricing reviews for financial audits.
• Assist in managing service providers supporting daily pricing production.
• Create and improve workflows related to pricing responsibilities.
• Write business requirements for pricing applications with technology teams.
