Overview
Sr. Pricing Analyst at Tremco CPG focuses on analyzing pricing data, forecasting market share and revenue, and translating pricing insights into actionable strategies to improve profitability. We seek a data-driven professional with strong quantitative and qualitative methods and experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Produce end-of-month and weekly reports on sales trends, price/margin effects (PVM), and low-margin items across Tremco brands and regions.
- Validate and analyze pricing reports against automated tools to ensure accuracy.
- Update the Pricing Master for new items and item changes, including price lists and GM% files; build load files for operations and maintain Power BI price lists and SharePoint references.
- Assist Pricing Manager with data validation and testing for Power BI models/dashboards and major IT projects (e.g., RPM One, Tremco Data Lake).
- Develop Power BI models/dashboards to automate manual Excel processes and reports; execute ad-hoc SQL queries and build Excel reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline reporting methods to enhance data quality and turnaround times; stay informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.
- Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to grow market share and profitability.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field.
- Master’s degree in business administration is advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years as a pricing analyst in a similar industry.
- Experience in Chemical, Building Materials, and/or Industrial product industries preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools, such as Power BI; experience with SAP pricing is advantageous.
- Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis; ability to analyze pricing strategies and forecast revenue and market share.
- Collaborative experience with sales and marketing on pricing strategies; ability to present analyses to stakeholders.
- Capability to stay current with industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools; strong Excel and SQL proficiency.
- Ability to independently access and analyze data from databases; experience with BI or dashboarding technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Travel up to 15% as needed.

- Primary Role (Summary): Improve data structures and data reliability for pricing analytics; track price realization and KPIs; support design and tracking of price approval processes; provide analytics to improve pricing and profitability; set and track pricing policies and governance.

- Key Accountabilities / Essential Functions: Refine price realization dashboards, investigate price performance monthly, identify data gaps, analyze historical pricing and transactional data for list price changes; support raw material inflation pass-through with Procurement and Finance; assist with price list design and governance, and pricing approvals.
The salary range for this position generally ranges between $75,000 and $90,000. This range is an estimate based on qualifications and business needs.
