Job summary

Dart Container in Michigan seeks a Financial Pricing Analyst to turn data into strategic pricing decisions and help shape pricing strategies across customer programs and negotiations.

You will model pricing scenarios, assess ROI/NPV, monitor market dynamics, and collaborate with Sales to improve profitability while contributing to cross-functional analyses and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of ROI, NPV, and related analysis methods.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Two years of analytical experience, or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Equivalent combination of experience will be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to gather information from multiple sources and apply findings to business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing scenarios and customer opportunities using analytical tools and financial modeling.
  • Support development and execution of customer-specific pricing strategies and promotional programs.
  • Review customer agreements and participate in regular pricing and contract reviews.
  • Monitor customer attrition, win/loss trends, and market dynamics to support pricing recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales teams to support contract negotiations and identify profitability opportunities.
  • Execute pricing adjustments within established contract terms.
  • Conduct capacity and business impact analyses for customer opportunities.
  • Present analyses and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Evaluate impact of products, competitors, distribution channels, and operational factors on pricing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance business performance through data-driven insights.

What You'll Do
