Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Indianapolis to develop and manage BOEs for RFQs, aligning labor and material estimates with customer requirements. The role interfaces with DoD stakeholders, production and engineering leads, and procurement to ensure accurate cost representations.

You will research BOM costs, prepare BOEs, include ODC/Travel estimates, and coordinate reviews with BOE approvers while maintaining RFQ records. A DoD background and Secret clearance readiness are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience; 4 additional years acceptable in lieu of degree.
• DoD contracting experience is required or highly desirable.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS is preferred.
• Experience with MS Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with DoD and industry partners.
• Strong communication with senior decision makers.
• Effective coordination and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Create SAIC Indy BOE templates using the latest corporate template.
• Document and track BOEs for RFQs from various customers.
• Check DIBBS, NECO, and SAM.gov for RFQ opportunities.
• Interface with onsite government customers on RFQs/ROMs.
• Interface with Production Managers for labor/material estimates.
• Interface with Program/Engineering leads for department estimates.
• Research BOM costs via internet and internal databases (P2K, AccuRev).
• Create and submit BOM parts quotes list to Procurement.
• Create BOEs for RFQs and add labor, quotes, and ODC/Travel estimates.
• Notify BOE Approver when BOE is ready for review and update as needed.
• Maintain records of RFQs, BOE status, and resulting awards.
• Provide input for ROMs with defined scope when needed.

SAIC is looking for a Pricing Analyst in Indianapolis.

Duties include:

• Create SAIC Indy BOE template using the latest version of the SAIC Corporate Basic BOE template.


• Document/Track BOEs created for RFQs, received from various customers.


• Check DIBBS, NECO &, SAM.gov websites for RFQ opportunities.


• Interface with onsite Government customers inre RFQs/ROMs.


• Interface with Production Managers, Indy & Bedford, for labor/material estimates to build cables and assemblies.


• Interface with Program Managers/Leads and, Logistics (Procurement, Tech Writers, Shipping/Receiving), Quality and Engineering Leads, for estimates for their respective departments.


• Interface with Engineering Leads for technical support.


• Research costs for BOM parts, via internet searches and, internal databases, i.e. P2K and AccuRev.


• Create and submit list of BOM parts that need quotes, to Procurement, using the Procurement template, for parts for which recent quotes, commercial prices or, historical data could not be found.


• Create BOEs for RFQs.


• Add labor estimates to BOE.


• Add quotes, for the BOM parts, to the BOE template.


• Add ODC/Travel estimates to BOE.


• Notify BOE Approver when BOE is ready for review.


• Make updates to BOE, as needed.


• Maintain accurate record of all RFQs, BOE status and, resulting awards.


• Provide input to Program/Project/Engineering Leads, for specialized independent ROMs, with a defined scope and product, on as-needed basis.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

• Excellent interpersonal, team building and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment.


• Experience with DoD contracting.


• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS.


• Experience with MS Excel and data analysis.


• Ability to work in a very dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.


• Ability to communicate with a diverse audience of senior decision makers with varying levels of programmatic and technical expertise.


• Effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills.


• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with no supervision.


• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance prior to start.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
