Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a Pricing Analyst to develop, administer, and optimize pricing tools and processes supporting growth and profitability in Canton, OH.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Billing, and customers to provide accurate rate quotes, support RFPs, and analyze lane profitability using pricing tools and Power BI.

Strong data analysis skills and the ability to prioritize high-volume work under tight deadlines are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of pricing analysis experience in transportation/logistics.
• Proficient in analyzing large datasets; intermediate Excel pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with Power BI a plus; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW

Primarily responsible for developing, administering, and optimizing pricing tools and processes necessary for business growth and profitability. Collaborates across internal teams and external customers to provide accurate pricing analysis, support major RFPs, and optimize efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Cross-Functional Pricing: Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Billing) and external customers to gather data for accurate, timely rate quotes.
• RFP Process Support: Provide analytical support on larger Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunities through data analysis, financial modeling, and document preparation.
• Profitability & Efficiency Analysis: Utilize pricing tools and software to conduct ongoing reviews of customer efficiency, lane performance, and profitability.
• Rate Research & Support: Research, troubleshoot, and resolve rate-related questions from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prioritization & Execution: Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize high-volume workloads to meet strict operational deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of pricing analysis experience in the transportation/logistics industry preferred.
• Data & Analytics: Proficient in analyzing large datasets; intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel pivot tables, advanced formulas) required.
• Business Intelligence: Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus; eagerness and willingness to learn is required.
• Core Competencies: Strong collaborative mindset, proactive problem-solver confident in sharing data-backed opinions, and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
