Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking team members to ensure accurate pricing and friendly guest service. You will audit prices in various categories, update prices in registers and on shelves, and support stock and cashier duties as needed.

The role emphasizes accuracy, basic math, computer use, and teamwork within a family-friendly store environment. Flexibility for varied tasks and adherence to store policies are expected.

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of DSD/Scanning operations.
• Ability to work well with computers.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Demonstrate excellent math skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and audit prices in DSD categories, MDI categories, Perishable departments and ad items.
• Update new prices in register system.
• Update new prices on shelf tags and signs.
• Update prices in the computer and on the shelf including displaying signs for discontinued items.
• Audit scan error logs.
• Ensure DSD price changes are transmitted to the store and shelf tags are printed and placed.
• Perform as a stocker.
• Perform as a cashier.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Verify/audit prices in DSD categories, MDI categories, Perishable departments and ad items.
• Update new prices in register system.
• Update new prices on shelf tags and signs.
• Update prices in the computer and on the shelf including displaying signs for discontinued items.
• Audit scan error logs.
• Ensure that all DSD price changes transmitted to the store are properly executed and shelf tags are printed and placed on the shelf (includes advertised and promotional items).
• Perform as a stocker.
• Perform as a cashier.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
