Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician in Georgia to service Ford and GMC trucks. The role emphasizes performing PM tasks, oil changes, tire and brake work, and occasional road tests to keep the latest fleet in top condition for customers.

You will also be able to continue to grow through our Technician Training Program, using classes from Ford, GMC and U-Haul itself. U-Haul will provide you with the tools needed to do your job. As a U-Haul preventive maintenance technician, you will use U-Haul Company’s proprietary technology to assess and care for field vehicles. U-Haul will provide the support and tools you need to succeed and grow, so if you want a job with endless opportunities for career growth.

Work Environment

The work involves manual labor and the ability to work safely and to be alert at all times. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, safety shoes, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties required, you should be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted. You will also be moving frequently, standing, sitting and moving beneath equipment.
