Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License is a plus but not required.
• Understands work orders and labor time standards.
• Able to perform basic inspections of brakes, drivetrain, emissions.

Responsibilities

• Keeps up on maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Performs engine repair and maintenance.
• Completes oil changes and greasing trucks/equipment.

Skills

Experience with maintenance on refuse trucks and heavy machinery

Basic inspection abilities (brakes, drivetrain, hydraulics)

Problem-solving capabilities

Education

Minimum two years experience as a heavy-duty technician
