La Costa Glen currently seeks a full-time Preventive Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive and predictive maintenance for buildings, equipment, and facilities in a Continuing Care Retirement Community environment. Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of plant operations and engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in plant engineering and/or trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• 2-3 years of mid-level management experience.
• Knowledge of State & federal regulations, Title 22, and NFPA 101: Life Safety Code is preferred.
• Strong organizational, written, computer, and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a passion and history of providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, inventory, and preventive maintenance scheduling for all equipment and buildings.
• Maintain equipment and facilities through systematic inspection and corrective actions.
• Oversee operation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, pumps, boilers, and life safety systems.
• Perform major repairs as preventive measures to avoid failures.
• Provide direction to staff with hands-on guidance and development.
• Supervise nighttime or weekend repairs and maintenance when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
