Job summary

VCU Health Pauley Heart Center in Richmond, VA seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide clinical care with a focus on prevention and early detection of cardiovascular disease. You will collaborate with cardiologists, researchers and educators in a world-class academic medical center and have access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular disease.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
• Clinically oriented with teaching and research experience for academic appointment.
• Strong communication with a large multidisciplinary program.
• Willingness to participate in teaching and fellowship programs.
• Commitment to professionalism and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows.
• Support clinical research protocols as needed.
• Participate in quality, safety and efficiency initiatives.
• Provide cardiovascular preventive services.
• Document clinical care and billing in compliance with policies.
