Job summary

Northern Rivers Family of Services seeks an Assistant Director for the Prevention program. You will assist the Senior Director in overseeing prevention initiatives aimed at avoiding out-of-home placement. Onsite work with community-based travel is required, reporting to the Senior Director.

You will supervise a team of clinicians and staff, coordinate with HR for hiring, and ensure documentation meets contract requirements while advancing evidence-based practices across services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in human services.
• Licenses: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC-D, LMHC, or LMFT preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned Prevention staff including Leadership Team, clinicians, and wrap-around services.
• Collaborate with supervisory team across programs.
• Oversee implementation of evidence-based practices (Motivational Interviewing, Family Check-Up, Everyday Parenting).
• Lead hiring and orientation of new team members with HR and central services.
• Provide weekly supervision to team members.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for agency and county partners.
• Review team documentation and client databases for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Contracts Administrators for audits and quality reviews.
• Assist Senior Director in designing and implementing new contracts.
