Job summary

Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting a Prevention Consultant to support the New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services Program in Cape May and Atlantic County. You will collaborate with school districts, consultants, and community providers to deliver trainings, workshops, and prevention education.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field and at least three years in non-profit settings; experience with evidence-based models; strong communication skills; a valid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field, experience in the provision of prevention related programs.
• At least three (3) years' experience working in non-profit, social service environment in development or implementation of community-based services, prevention programs, or any other human service programs.
• Experience in implementing evidence-based practice models and other materials related to training, coaching according to policies and procedures.
• Experience implementing evidence-based treatment and prevention programs is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with and empowering at-risk youth and marginalized communities by conducting prevention education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to motivate and engage your team as well as be an effective leader across the agency.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes and evaluation of services.
• Build effective collaborative partnerships and ensure that services are reflective of community need.
• Collaborate closely with school principals, counselors and support personnel as required in order to effectively deliver required supports to students and their families.
• Support accurate and complete program data collection and reporting.
