Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician I to keep store equipment running smoothly, from Slurpee machines to HVAC systems.

You will respond to work orders, manage parts inventory, and schedule assignments to maintain efficiency while following service manuals and safety protocols. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively on projects.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders for minor repairs to equipment (hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, HVAC filters, etc.), replacing ‘plug and play’ equipment.
• Ordering/manage parts inventory, complete daily reports, and schedule/prioritize assignments to ensure efficiency.
• Read, understand, and follow service manual guidelines.
• Work safely and handle other duties as assigned.
