Quick Servant Company, Inc. seeks a Preventative Maintenance Technician to service commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems in a Richmond area setting.

The role covers operating, maintaining and inspecting heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment in commercial buildings. You will troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on mini splits, heat pumps, furnaces and packaged systems; complete service calls; order parts; and document work.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration field preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Provide preventive maintenance on commercial systems including mini splits, heat pumps, furnaces, and packaged units.
• Maintain professional courtesy and communication with customers and team.
• Inspect and maintain company-provided service vehicle and document work.
• Order parts to complete service calls and complete paperwork efficiently.

Role Description

The Preventative Maintenance Technician will hold the responsibility to offer comprehensive service solutions for operating, maintaining, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and performing other related duties in commercial buildings settings. This includes performing various tasks relating to maintaining and preserving refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilating, and heating systems in buildings. This may include replacing, cleaning, preserving air filters, thermostats, belts, bearings, and blower fans.

Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance, refrigeration, & HVAC Equipment
• Complete Service Calls in a timely manner
• Provide Preventative Maintenance on all commercial equipment including mini splits, heat pumps, furnace, Packaged systems
• Treat Customers with professional courtesy and respect
• Communicate effectively with manager, dispatcher and customer
• Inspect and maintain company provided service vehicle
• Order parts to complete service calls
• Complete paper work in an efficient effective manner
