Job summary

RSI Texas, LLC is seeking an entry-level Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our Dallas-Fort Worth team. You will perform preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment and ice machines, using hand and power tools, and operate a company vehicle safely.

This role supports on-call nights and weekends as needed. We offer paid training opportunities, health benefits for full-time staff, 401k with match, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA certification required; HVAC/R training considered.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass drug and background screens.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment and ice machines, including cleaning and replacing filters.
• Operate hand tools and power tools.
• Safely operate a commercial vehicle and trailer in accordance with safety requirements.
• Work on-call nights and weekends as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with customers and work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide maintenance such as cleaning, replacing filters, and more on commercial refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
• Operate hand tools and power tools.
• Operate a commercial vehicle and trailer in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety requirements.
• Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
• Effectively communicate with the customer, and work independently under pressure, and without close supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC/R training or related education may be considered.
• Must be EPA certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Exert up to 150 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.) regularly and up to 50-75 pounds of force frequently without assistance.
• Climb and work from 8ft ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
• Tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
