Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery at our Pittsburgh operation. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and repairing equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, knowledge of CMMS/HMI, and the ability to work independently with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: 2 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum Qualifications: 2 Years - Experience in Position.
  • 0 Years - Experience managing people/projects.
  • Required to lift items up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
  • Basic knowledge of CMMS, including experience with HMIs and work orders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Team members must provide their own tools (California exceptions).
  • Preferred Qualifications: 4 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 4 Years - Experience working in Position.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2 Years - Experience managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems using schematics and drawings.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors and other equipment.
  • Lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.
  • Work independently and with others to complete repairs timely and safely.
  • Complete required daily paperwork and document parts usage.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Preventative Maintenance Technician

Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.

Essential Functions
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors and other equipment at facility as required.
  • Lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.
  • Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
  • Complete required daily paperwork, document parts and material usage.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • May perform as a back up to production line worker.
  • Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
