Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a dependable Preventative Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering team at The Lytle Park Hotel in Cincinnati. You will perform routine, preventative maintenance to keep guest rooms, public areas, and equipment in top condition, ensuring safe and luxurious environments.

The role requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of general building maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional and courteous when interacting with guests and fellow team members.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift or move items associated with maintenance work.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule based on hotel operational needs, including occasional weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Inspect guest rooms and hotel equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs.
  • Complete minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as replacing filters, light bulbs, batteries, hardware, and other components.
  • Touch up paint, caulking, walls, doors, and finishes as needed.
  • Respond to guest room maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with maintaining hotel equipment, mechanical areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
  • Complete preventative maintenance checklists and accurately document completed work.
  • Identify larger repair needs and communicate them to Engineering leadership.
  • Follow all hotel safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Partner with other hotel departments to help ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Lytle Park Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. This position plays an important role in keeping our hotel beautiful, safe, and operating at its best by performing routine preventative maintenance and addressing general repair needs throughout the property. The ideal candidate enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in maintaining a high‑quality environment, and understands the importance of providing excellent service in a luxury hotel setting.

What You’ll Do
