Job summary

Electronic Systems, Inc. seeks a Preventative Maintenance Machine Technician to keep production equipment in peak condition, perform inspections, and support manufacturing daily.

Working independently in a climate-controlled facility, you will perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and equipment readiness to minimize downtime. The right candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-focused, organized, dependable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and related accessories.
  • Maintain SMT equipment, conveyors, reflow ovens, wave solder equipment, ventilation systems, tooling, and production computers.
  • Vacuum loose electronic components and debris from equipment.
  • Assist with feeder repairs, calibrations, and equipment setup.
  • Maintain ultrasonic cleaning systems and batch wash equipment.
  • Replace filters, clean tanks, and maintain equipment support systems.
  • Identify potential equipment issues before they impact production.
  • Support preventative maintenance tracking and documentation.
  • Operate floor maintenance equipment to keep a safe manufacturing environment.
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering to maximize equipment readiness and uptime.

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm

PAY: $21-$24 an hour, based on experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Preventative Maintenance Machine Technician, you'll help ensure ESI's production equipment is maintained, inspected, and ready to support manufacturing every day. Your work helps prevent downtime, improves equipment reliability, supports production efficiency, and ensures our customers receive their products Done Right, On Time. Working independently throughout our climate-controlled manufacturing facility, you'll perform preventative maintenance, detailed equipment cleaning, inspections, and operational support that help keep production moving.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Performing preventative maintenance on production equipment and related accessories
  • Maintaining SMT equipment, conveyors, reflow ovens, wave solder equipment, ventilation systems, tooling, and production computers

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and walking
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Work around active manufacturing equipment
  • Climate-controlled manufacturing facility
  • Required use of PPE in accordance with ESI Safety Policy and OSHA requirements
