Responsibilities include using a digital scale, reading labeling instructions, inspecting products for defects, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. The role is on-site in New Jersey with potential for routine shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but no required.
• Ability to read and follow labeling instructions to ensure proper packaging.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a steady pace for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Weighing raw and packaged products while maintaining product integrity to specifications.
• Measuring raw and finished products accurately according to specifications.
• Operate digital scale to weigh products and ensure accuracy.
• Select and assemble packaging materials, and ensure correct bag/box labeling.
• Inspect pretzels for defects and remove rejects from the line.
• Move and load product between conveyors, proofers, and retarders as needed.
• Assist with hand tying and hand slicing of pretzels to meet quality expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the packing area.
