Valmont is seeking a Design Engineer to design and draft prestressed concrete poles, oversee structural analysis, and ensure products meet specifications. You will support customers, coordinate with sales, and assist operations to manufacture to spec.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, knowledge of FEA and 3D CAD, and occasional international travel. You will report to the Director of Engineering - Concrete with no direct reports.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
• Working knowledge of 3D Computer-Aided Design Software.
• Travel up to 10% of the time; may include international travel.

Mansioni

• Analyze and design products by Finite Element Method, considering safety and cost.
• Interpret customer specifications and market needs.
• Understand fabrication processes and QA requirements for Valmont products.
• Provide engineering data to customers and coordinate with sales and operations.
• Oversee design changes and new methods; support cost reduction and manufacturability.
