Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in the prestige category by engaging guests to determine their needs and assist in selecting color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance while following store policies and maintaining clean, replenished displays. This role supports the Sales Manager with a focus on service, guest experience, and in-store events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales with a focus on prestige category and brands.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting, engaging guests, and recommending products and services.
• Courtseously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends and products to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training for prestige and brand education.
