Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Inspects, repairs, maintains, and modifies equipment; diagnoses diesel, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Troubleshoots on conventional and specialized equipment with assistance.
• Reads manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• May perform gas and arc welding during routine maintenance.
• Assists in training and mentoring maintenance technician trainees; orients operators.
