Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Duluth, GA is seeking a Material Handler to help keep materials moving efficiently across the facility and support receiving, inventory, and production operations.

You will unload and stage shipments, operate forklifts, put away materials, pull orders, and maintain a clean warehouse while following safety procedures. Shift is 2:30pm to 1:00am, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring materials.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to use inventory tracking systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using material handling equipment.
• Prepare and break down inbound shipments and verify accuracy.
• Put away products and materials in designated locations.
• Pull orders accurately using paper or electronic order systems.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Move materials to designated areas throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and performing duties.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Duluth, GA. In this role, you'll help keep materials moving efficiently throughout the facility while supporting receiving, inventory, and production operations.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using material handling equipment
• Prepare and break down inbound shipments and verify accuracy
• Put away products and materials in designated locations

• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and performing job duties

Your Shift:

2:30pm - 1:00 am Monday -Thursday

You Must Have:

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory tracking systems
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
• Ability to follow established safety procedures

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of warehouse, material handling, or related experience
