Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Press Support Associate to assist Press Operators in setting up and operating printing presses for pressure sensitive labels on paper, plastic, foil and film. Your role includes following job orders, loading dies, ink handling, and routine maintenance to ensure quality output.

The position offers onsite training and exposure to a skilled trade in the printing industry with opportunities for growth and career advancement within the production team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Basic arithmetic; ability to read rulers and measurement devices.
• Regular standing and walking; lift up to 50 pounds with/without assistance.
• Color vision and depth perception; ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Follows guidance from Press Operator.
• Loads dies, installs print cylinders, and starts the press.
• Fills ink pans and ensures ink viscosity.
• Maintains clean work area and performs basic press maintenance as directed.
• Inspects printed output for defects and reports issues.
• Assists in routine daily/weekly/monthly maintenance as required.
