Job summary

Gestamp seeks an experienced Press Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance strategy and reliability initiatives in our high-volume automotive stamping operations. You will guide a technical team, drive uptime, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, and collaboration with Operations, Quality, Tooling, and Engineering to enable production goals and new equipment installations, while advancing TPM and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with large mechanical, hydraulic, servo, or automated production equipment.
• Experience leading reliability, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and project management.
• Automotive stamping experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance supervisors, engineers, planners, and skilled technicians.
• Drive equipment reliability and uptime across mechanical, hydraulic, and servo press systems.
• Implement and enhance preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Champion a culture of safety while ensuring compliance with OSHA, lockout/tagout, and company standards.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement sustainable solutions to improve performance.
• Manage maintenance budgets, capital projects, contractor relationships, and spare parts strategies.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Tooling, and Engineering teams to support production goals and new equipment installations.
• Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
